<p>This road will go from Coonagh Cross to Knockalisheen road (and will include the re-vamping of the Knockisheelin road to watch house cross).</p>
<p>Crucially this new road will connect to the existing cul de sac at the top of Moyross.</p>
<p>This project has been a vital component and objective of the limerick Regeneration Masterplan. Most of the individual projects in the Moyross Regeneration Plan are reliant on the development of this piece of transport <span class="st">infrastructure<strong>, </strong></span>therefore planning permission is warmly welcomed by the Regeneration Agencies. <a href="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/108007-130-map.pdf">Map of Area</a></p>

<p>President Mary McAlease visited Limerick today and officated at the formal opening of a new state of the art community creche beside the river Shannon, in St. Mary&#8217;s Park.<a href="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/president_limerick_creche_056.jpg" rel="lightbox[1848]"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1852" src="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/president_limerick_creche_056-500x333.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>This project was planned and involved the hard-work and committment of serveral people and groups over many years and had reached an advanced stage prior to the arrival of the Regeneration Project.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/president_limerick_creche_032.jpg" rel="lightbox[1848]"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1867" title="president_limerick_creche_032" src="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/president_limerick_creche_032-500x333.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>The Regeneration Agencies helped to get the project &#8220;over the line&#8220; and has contributed a sum of €350,000 to offset the funding dificit on the capital cost of €1.3million. Most of the funding has come from the Department of Children and Youth affairs (EU childcare investment programme) and administred through POBAL.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/president_limerick_creche_117.jpg" rel="lightbox[1848]"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1894" src="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/president_limerick_creche_117-333x500.jpg" alt="" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>A further key funding contribution came from the JP McManus Trust. The HSE West has also contributed significatly to this very valuable project.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/president_limerick_creche_222.jpg" rel="lightbox[1848]"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1895" src="http://www.limerickregeneration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/president_limerick_creche_222-500x333.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>The whole area of childcare, child protection and welfare is a crucial element of the Social pillar of the LImerick Regeneration Masterplan.</p>
